Hello friends!
I just wanted to take the opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas! Decorating some sugar cookies has been on my to-do list for the past three weeks, and I finally got to it now that I am on Winter Break. Thanks to my neighbor who wanted to learn, we spent the morning decorating 4 dozen cookies and talking plans for our two-week vacation. (Teachers need the break too!)
This was my first time decorating Christmas trees. (Gasp!) I know, I know. Actually, the loopty-loop swirl was quite fun. Think I’ll do that again next year. Not sure what I was so scared about.
Whether your baking treats or cooking elaborate meals for extended family and friends, I hope this time is filled with love and laughter. And if you are planning on decorating sugar cookies using royal icing, feel free to check out this post. Super helpful information. I also made mitten sugar cookies with more detailed descriptions here.
Enjoy the holidays! xoxo

Hello! Your cookies look amazing! I was wondering, could you share your recipes for the piping icing and flooding icing? I’ve never decorated cookies this way and want to get started on the right foot.
