8 Fall Desserts

Happy fall!  Autumn in the Pacific Northwest was turning out to be really nice, with 60-70 degree days and lots of sunshine.  Then the rain and wind dumped yesterday and I woke up to my driveway and backyard covered in leaves and branches on the ground.  As we were pulling into the garage after church, Matthew said, “I’ll rake the driveway.”  Haha. Only a kid who sees us shovel wet leaves in over 200 large, Home Depot bags throughout the fall and early winter would say something like that.  And yes, there were that many leaves that fell on the driveway that to clean it up required a rake, not a broom.  Yikes!

Now that the weather has really started to cool off, I feel the need to heat up some cider and hang out by the fire.  And do some serious baking.  I do have a few new recipes up my sleeve, but in the meantime, enjoy some of my favorite fall recipes from the blog!
