FAQs and Policies

When I pick up the cookies, how long will they last?

Cookies will stay fresh for at least one week after pick-up.  Keep them in the individual package and take out only when ready to eat.

I heard that I shouldn’t eat luster dust or disco dust because they are non-toxic.  Are any of these in the cookies?

Luster dust and disco dust are in some cookies, but the ones I purchase (from The Sugar Art) are FDA approved for human consumption.  They are not non-toxic but fully editable.

Can I freeze the cookies?

Yes! My cookies freeze well.  Leave them in the individual packages and gently stack inside a freezer bag.  Place the freezer bag on a cookie sheet (to keep them flat) and freeze.  When ready to eat, pull the bag out and leave at room temperature.  Once at room temperature, you can take the cookies out of the individual bag.

How long in advance do I need to give notice for custom cookies?

I need at least a two-week turnaround time.  Because I work full-time as a teacher, I have to plan in advance.  This also gives me time to create the cookies on paper and get your approval before beginning to make the cookies.

Do you deliver or ship?

No.  Because I make cookies out my home kitchen, I cannot do either.  Sorry.

Why do your cookies cost so much?

Each cookie is a work of art.  Cookies take at least two days to make with multiple steps and many with intricate details.

All sales are final.  Once an agreement has been reached and a date has been set, canceling will still result in payment.  These cookies take many hours and are done in stages, not made in one day.  Thank you for understanding.
