Matthew and his new whittling knife. Spent all day yesterday making kitchen knives and then set up a shop at the end of the driveway to sell his wares. Grace manned the front of the shop while he continued to whittle, as he told her: “I can’t run the shop and whittle at the same time. Can you help me?” 😊 #whittle #whittlingknife #siblings

So I managed to put this @pier1 bookshelf together with a little help from the kids, but it’s too heavy to move alone, and Matthew can’t lift one side. I was hoping to have it in the right location in the living room all decorated when Eric came home, but I guess it’ll have to stay here for the time being. 🙄 Isn’t it adorable though?! #bookshelf #furniture

Salamander? Newt? Not sure, but the kids had a good time creating a temporary home for “Slimey,” while we relocated him to a different part of the backyard. So far, we haven’t found any relatives of his in the planter box we’re taking apart. 🦎 #reptile #garden #planterbox

Camping with goats! Cross that off my bucket list. 🐐These little critters were supervised by the alpaca 🦙 and roamed up to our table when main meals were being prepped and eaten. They stated nibbling on everything! I don’t think I’ve ever eaten a meal so fast in my life! Haha. But they were lots of fun. Kids had a great time following them around and playing in the creek below. The joys of camping! #camping #goats #summerfun
