My break officially started today. I worked extra hours this past week so I wouldn’t have to bring any essay grading or lesson planning home, so today felt especially sweet knowing it truly is a break.
Today was low key, with no to-do agenda, because, hey! I have two weeks! Haha. That mentality worked for all of this morning, and then I realized that the end of 2019 is two weeks away and I haven’t even started putting together my photo album for the year. (Granted, I did just print all 300+ photos to Costco, so it wasn’t like I was really on the ball or anything. Good thing Project Life makes it easy to scrapbook. And, you know, I do have two weeks.)
Anyway, I called my mom this morning to go over the Christmas Eve dinner menu, as I am hosting, and it got me thinking about what dessert to make. Something super simple for sure, as I am making the main dish. All of these desserts take under an hour to make with ingredients you most likely already have on hand. Most of them involve chocolate, but I included a few that don’t. If you don’t have a dessert option in mind yet, I hope you give one of these a try. You can’t go wrong with any of them.
Merry Christmas! xoxo
