This is the first Mother’s Day I am not spending with my mom. It’s certainly a lot easier to see family when you live closer! (The picture below is my my mom and sisters horseback riding at Black Butte, Bend in 2019. We went on a girls’ week there and it was awesome!)
Since I couldn’t be there to celebrate in person, I sent her (and my mother-in-law) a care package of cookies. Both my mom and mother-in-law love to garden, so I made some gardening sugar cookies.
This set includes a flower bucket, trowel, watering can, and umbrella. I’ve used the umbrella cutter before, but the rest of the designs are new. Florals take more time, but I love making them.
They also enjoy tea, so I made a tea set as well.
Close up of these cookies. Tea bag, stacked tea cups, and floral spoon.
Happy Mother’s Day! I hope you get to spend the day with your cherished loved ones. xoxo
