I think bunnies are one of the cutest animals ever. What’s not to love about their fluffiness and cute, squishy faces? My love of bunnies wasn’t always that way. When I was was in 4th grade, my neighbors had a bunny. He was cute, little, and light gray. My family didn’t have a pet at the time, so I just couldn’t wait to hold and pet an animal.
Unfortunately, I think the bunny was done being held by the time it was my turn because no more than five seconds after I held him, he peed all down my shirt. My neighbor and sisters couldn’t stop laughing as the whole front of my shirt was covered in warm liquid. When the laughter finally died down, my neighbor thought that instead of me going straight home, I should be hosed down to get the pee out.

So, I stood in the driveway as she took the garden hose and soaked me from head to toe, clearly making sure that the pee was no longer on my shirt. I walked home fully wet, crying, and embarrassed to a very confused mother. After that, I didn’t want to hold a bunny anymore.

These plaque bunnies are almost as cute as the real thing. The cutters are from JC Cookie Co, the eyes are PME black beads, the bunny tail is white sanding sugar, and the colors are Americolor’s light pink, ash, forest green, black, and white. The flowers are a mold and made using Satin Ice’s fondant colored light pink, peach, and purple.
I love bunnies and think they are adorable, and will now willingly hold and pet them, but I still prefer a cookie over the real thing.
