Easter is almost here! I am excited to fill some eggs with candy and some baskets with goodies. It’s so fun to watch my kids run around hunting for the hidden eggs in the yard. These pictures of my kids were from last year. The weather actually cooperated for once, and we had no rain. For those of you who live in the Pacific Northwest, you know how much it rains in the spring!
I made these cookies with my sister last weekend. We had a great time decorating together. I realized decorating minis is almost more fun than decorating standard size cookies.
These ones were standard sizes.
For the Peep cookies, I used my new spray gun for the design on top. Spraying is a lot more fun than I thought it would be, and I am learning new tricks to get a clean line from the design.
Lastly, while they aren’t really Easter, they are spring. In Charlotte, spring is definitely here. It was like I woke up yesterday with all the flowers in bloom. It didn’t feel gradual at all!
Isn’t this bee so cute?
What are your plans for Easter? This year, we are heading to my sister’s after church service for an egg hunt and Easter dinner, so all I am in charge of is deviled eggs (my favorite!) and a dessert. In years past, I have hosted and while I love it, it is kind-of stressful, so glad for the break this time around. If you’re looking for dessert ideas for Easter, check out this post. Happy Easter! xoxo
