Fall is my favorite season in the South. The weather is beginning to cool down and the changing of the leaves is always spectacular. (And at Halloween, I am so grateful we don’t have to have a heavy coat and an umbrella when taking the kids trick-or-treating!) As we transition to the Christmas season, I just wanted to share some different fall sets I made these past few months.
This was a fun set to make. The Hello Fall plaque was my favorite, as I got to draw the leaves with an edible marker pen. And who doesn’t love hot chocolate during the cooler months!
I took a floral class at Cookie Con this year, so I wanted to practice and incorporate it into a set. It was also fun airbrushing on the background of this Hello Fall plaque.
For this set, I used parchment paper to create dimension on the acorns and dry dusted wafer paper on the mushroom. The squirrel holding the pumpkin is just too cute.
I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and safe travels, if you’re on the road this year. For us, my aunt is hosting, so we’re off to Virginia. Looking forward to time with extended family and not cooking a turkey, haha. (I love turkey, but it’s always so stressful making sure it turns out perfect.) Happy fall and happy thanksgiving! xoxo
