Fall Sugar Cookies

Fall is my favorite season. The kaleidoscope of colors never ceases to amaze me each year. And it’s this time of year that I want hot apple cider and anything pumpkin. For these cookies the flavor was pumpkin spice latte, and they tasted so good! (My new fall favorite!) For the color scheme, I wanted muted colors, but also a few bold ones to stand out, so the dark blue and deep pink were the stars this time around.

I love how the fox and hedgehog are wearing sweaters. Too cute.

And the heart cut-out pumpkin? Love.

I have been spending many Saturdays picking up acorns around my lawn, and dread when they all fall off the tree, but in cookie form I’ll take them any day!

For the embellishments on the floral plaque, I used edible paper and dry dusted them with edible paint powder. Super fun.
