I love going to the Farmers Market. Seeing all the fresh produce and flowers on display, the new artisans proudly displaying their wares, and getting a quick lunch to sit and listen to local musicians is a fun way to spend family time.

The veggies are minis (there’s a picture with a quarter to see how small these cutters are) and the flowers are regular size.

These cookies are a tribute to the market and the things I love about it. I added the red truck because I just love this cutter. (I’ve used it in a previous set and you can find those cookies here.)

I have a tutorial on how to make these flowers. You can find it here.

For the sign, I made the text on the computer, printed it out, and used my KopyKake to project the words onto the cookie. I am not that great at free-hand right now.

I packaged these up and sent them to my sister in North Carolina. We went to visit her last week and when the cookies arrived, not one broke. However, I did use a lot of bubble wrap!
Our local market currently has only fruits and veggies, due to COVID restrictions, but I just received an email the other day that next month flowers and other artisans will be able to return. Yeah to that!

If you’re making some cookies, I hope these sets give you some inspiration. Maybe even just cutting some flowers in your garden to create a bouquet inside. Happy baking! xoxo
